LEAD PASTORS

Mike and Janel Hernandez became the Lead Pastors at Highpoint on October 1, 2025. Previously, Mike served as the Pastoral Care Pastors at Church of the Harvest in Olathe, KS (a suburb of Kansas City).

Mike and Janel have a passion for discipleship and reaching the next generation. They want to see young families fulfilling their potential. They believe building strong marriages strengthens families, churches and communities.

Mike and Janel have four children (who live in other states) and enjoy every moment spent together as a family. Mike enjoys running and watching sports. Janel enjoys crocheting and reading.
